Ceremony and Reception Venue
Our Ceremony venue is the United Methodist Church in Bethel, ME. Originally we wanted to get married at our reception site, but due to size constraints, that wasn't possible. Nana wanted there to be a religious aspect of our ceremony, so I let him decide on a church he was comfortable with. I love the big stained-glass window in the front of the church!
Inside of church
Our reception venue is The Grand Summit Ballroom at Sunday River in Newry, Maine. We looked at a few venues in the Bethel/Newry area, but as soon as we walked into the ballroom at the Summit hotel, Nana and I both knew it was the place. It has beautiful high ceilings, an awesome dance floor, and a wall of windows that looks out over the grounds. We are having a cocktail hour on the patio adjacent to the ballroom, followed by dinner and dancing in the main room.
