The Flowers

Picture
I love sunflowers.  They have always been my favorite flower, and I couldn't imagine using anything else for my bouquet.  Luckily, they are actually in season in June, so they are budget friendly as well.  The picture is one I found on the internet, and brought to my florist.  This will be my bouquet.  My bridemaids will carry a smaller version, with 3-4 large sunflowers and hypericum berries.

The Cake

Picture
This is the inspiration for my cake.  I loved the polka-dots!  I also loved the fondant ribbon and bow on top, since I'm not a huge fan of cake-toppers in general.  My cake will be a square, three-tier version of this cake that will feed about 180 people.

The Centerpieces

Picture
I will be DIYing these myself.  The basic idea is a hurricane vase, with glass stones and cream pillar candles in each.  I found teal and brown polka-dotted ribbon to wrap around the base of each vase, and thin teal ribbon to tie into a bow on the top.  The vase will sit on top of  a square mirror.  Each table will be finished with a teal satin table runner.

Wedding Tree Guest Book

Picture
I saw this on Etsy, and fell in love.  Guests will add their fingerprint and name on a branch of the tree.  Then, we can display it in our home as artwork after the wedding.
